happy chinese new year!

從小到大我最喜愛的節日就是農曆新年，又有利事收，又有大把零食隨便食。到大個後，農曆新年妨彷彿是與親戚好友唯一相見的日子，每次見面後都會話得閒飲茶／食飯／BBQ等等，但下一次見面通常又是農曆新年，而每次見面後都會繼續話得閒飲茶／食飯／BBQ等等。好，我就決定要改掉這個習慣，就係戒掉不再說得閒飲茶，但講得出就要做得到！

we've got mail!

thanks to auntie lucia for sending rafael a box of cute outfits all the way from toronto!! rafael has got so many clothes that we need to clean out our closet to make space for them.


住在多倫多的嬸嬸為靖愷寄來一大盒衣服，除了冬夏衫褲還有襪子，塞滿小人兒的衣櫥。請大家都不需再為靖愷添新衣了。

oh where, oh where has my little dog gone?

rafael seems particularly interested in dogs among all sorts of pets he has ever met. when we brought him to visit my grandparents last sunday, i thought he would be happy to meet with their pet dog "siu bo". well, that's true that rafael did feel excited when seeing "siu bo" in the first place but the harmonious moment only lasted for some 30 seconds... it ended when "siu bo" said hello to little rafa... : P

rafa: mummy, siu bo seems to have forgotten me...


siu bo: wow! wow! wow! (unfortunately siu bo doesn't speak cantonese nor english nor birdish and it seems that rafael was scared off by his bark : P)


poor rafael dared not come any closer to siu bo while poor siu bo was locked up afterwards...

happy time

last time when we visited discovery bay, rafael was yet to walk on his own and still sitting in his stroller throughout the trip. six months later, little rafa not only refused to be seated in his stroller but also managed to stride in the db plaza! oh yes, we went to db again yesterday to visit my cousin desmond. we were lucky that yesterday's weather was really fine for an outing.

光陰似箭，日月如梭，對上一次到訪愉景灣，靖愷還要全程安坐在嬰兒車裡。昨日應表哥邀請，到他愉景灣的家中作客兼燒烤，靖愷已懂得四處走！

the ferry departed at 4.40 pm and it was also rafael's tea time!

昨天早上還有著毛毛細雨，幸好下午已天朗氣晴，十分適合旅行兼燒烤。未到愉景灣，靖愷已急不及待品嚐他的下午茶！

db is such a nice place where you can't find another pacific coffee with a view like this.

除愉景灣的這一間外，還有沒有pacific coffee擁有這樣的露天無敵海景？amy 和我都愛上愉景灣了…

desmond was nice enough to prepare all the food and beverage for the bbq, and also this chocolate fondue! can you see rafael's saliva coming out from his mouth??

饞嘴的靖愷看到朱古力噴泉後口水直流...

words were unable to describe how disappointed rafael was when he found that the ice-cream ball went to amy's mouth but not his! to make it up to rafael, amy tried to give him some grapes...

可惜朱古力對於靖愷而言，仍然是「可遠觀而不可褻玩焉」…

the consequence was the same - rafael was still disappointed... perhaps even worse as the grapes were sour!

amy 嘗試用提子來平伏靖愷的失望，靖愷用面部表情顯示他的回應…


all of us were having a great time yesterday. desmond, will you change your mind to keep staying in db so that we can enjoy another great time in future? : P

happy birthday to grand-grandma! too bad rafael looked a bit dull after just waking up from his nap : P

祝太婆生日快樂！靖愷對太婆家中的小狗甚感興趣，拜年的時候甚至想伸手摸它呢！之後，靖愷每次看見四腳朝地的動物，都會叫「汪汪」，不論是貓、狗、羊、獅子、老虎... : P

birthday celebration

rafael has his 11-month old birthday today. seems that he is in good mood on his birthday as he offers some nice poses when i am taking pictures on him : P

靖愷今天剛滿十一個月大，看來他心情也蠻不錯呢！


amy said rafael's pinky cheeks look like having put on make-up! in fact it's the rash that's caused by the dry and cold weather lately...

today is also uncle wai's birthday. it's nice that we can celebrate together!

今天也是偉舅父的生日呢，靖愷很高興可以一同切蛋糕慶祝！

one-month party

baby rafael will be turning 1 month old in two days. 爺爺 is so excited about it and decided to throw a party to celebrate this today (march 3)! rafael truly was the spotlight of the night, as everyone, including the little ones, couldn't take their eyes off him and of course, continued to pamper him with gifts and lai-sees as well.

little uncles adrian and euson (brothers) were particularly excited when it's dinner time for rafa and asked to share the feeding work! and adrian was so nice to have brought a tiny teddy bear from his school's fun fair for little rafa. see the pic the little uncles took with baby rafa (rafa was sleeping inside the stroller, in case you couldn't find him, oh and also see the teddy bear sleeping next to rafael).

and rafael wetted his clothes again when he peed during the changing time! luckily uncle wai (my big brother) bought him new clothes and they just came in handy as mommy forgot to bring an extra outfit for him! i really like his new clothes from zara (how hip!), it says "thanks mum & dad!"
