at home, after playing the "human aeroplane" for the nth time:

mom: okay this is the last time. mama is tired.

after the last time:

rafael: again!

mom: hmm... okay, the very very last time!

in the park, after playing on the slide for the nth time:

mom: okay this is the last time and we'll have to go.

rafael: last time and then very very last time!

***

at home, after playing thomas train for the nth time:

mom: okay let's play for the very very last time and we'll have to go to bed.

rafael: no, last time and then very very last time!

***

what a lesson i've learned in parenting! i just hope no one will repeat my mistakes.
