太公告訴靖愷，二次世界大戰發生時，坐火車隨時會遭到飛彈襲擊。後來有很多火車軌都被炸了，車站都封閉，他和其他人就睡在軌道上，有時候，睡醒時身上會披上一層雪。
靖愷很幸福，太公太婆都很健康。我從來沒有見過自己的太公太婆太爺太嫲，看到這小手捉著大手的畫面，感到格外溫暖。
