don't worry, daddy!

in the midnight on the lunar new year's day:

daddy is on a flight to switzerland.

rafael is sleeping on the bed.

i'm writing on the blog.

mama: do you know where baba is going?

rafael: europe!

mama: for how many days?

rafael: 10 days!

mama: will you miss baba?

rafael: yes!

mac said he hasn't been on a trip where he actually wanted it to end asap before he even set off! you can imagine how reluctant he was to go.

we'll be missing you sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much too daddy! see you in 10 days, just before rafael turns 2!

A 10 days business trip is not along trip for a single man, but it definitely is a long trip for a family man. Mac, I am sure Amy and Rafael will miss you much.

Forgot to tell u one funny thing~ Nori (my husband) also has your blog on his bookmark. So one night, while reading your blog~~
Nori: "Oh, did u know your friend was on a business trip for 10 days?"
Me: "Who?"
Nori: "Mac"
Me: "Mac? really? didn't know he has to travel that far away"
Nori: "oh wait, no, it's his wife"
Me: "Oh"
Nori: "oh wait, no, it's Mac"
Me: "?!?!?!?!"
(wouldn't it be funny if he said it's Rafael travelling instead?!"

Don't worry about bilingual. He will ask me if he doesn't understand something. maybe it will be a push for him to learn more Cantonese.
