happy chinese new year!

從小到大我最喜愛的節日就是農曆新年，又有利事收，又有大把零食隨便食。到大個後，農曆新年妨彷彿是與親戚好友唯一相見的日子，每次見面後都會話得閒飲茶／食飯／BBQ等等，但下一次見面通常又是農曆新年，而每次見面後都會繼續話得閒飲茶／食飯／BBQ等等。好，我就決定要改掉這個習慣，就係戒掉不再說得閒飲茶，但講得出就要做得到！

let's go to movie!

glad that both of them sat through the whole movie - without grumbling or crying! and in fact they were much attracted to the movie and even forgot the popcorn at all! end up it's me who finished the 2/3 box of it : P

country side

想不到香港也有紅葉，難得今天陽光普照天氣回暖，和朋友一起到烏蛟騰看看。想這三株楓葉樹應該是烏蛟騰的地標，不斷有遊人來觀賞。

附近還有人家養了兩頭牛！小朋友天不怕地不怕，還爬了進去想餵牠們吃草！當然，爬了進去又不敢走上前去啦 : P

這幾個小朋友，拿著木枝和竹枝便樂上半天，沒有追著大人們拿電話！我覺得這是今天的最大得著呢！

weekend getaway

短短四天已令小朋友樂而忙返（大人也何嘗不是 : P）！上次來新加坡rafael 還只是兩歲多啊，聖淘沙只得數間酒店... 光陰似箭啊！

去得聖淘沙，當然要去環球片場啦，趁哥哥和amy忙著玩遊戲，我也和heather拍拖去 : P

由開門10點玩到7點關門，當然開懷大笑啦。

garden by the bay 很不錯，除了這個skywalk！點解？因為我畏高... : P

summer is fun!

this year, the summer seemed to have come a little bit early. the weather was like scorching hot since early may. we couldn't wait until the summer vacation and already visited the beach yesterday! a two-hour swim in the water was more than enough to make them fall into a good sleep during our return journey!

the lychee and raspberry milkshake is the best way to cool down in the hot summer, don't you agree?

it's lego time!

才幾個月前，哥哥妹妹還可以合一起砌一盒lego （當然很多時是哥哥負責砌，妹妹負責從旁打氣）......

大概由現在開始，他們終於要分手、各自發展喇！

everything is awesome

i think the theme of the movie is a little bit complicated to kids but rafael is surely enjoying it very much. he already kept talking about the movie ever since we left the cinema! but somehow i think rafael will not consider lord business an evil character as he himself is also obsessed with doing things in good order! : P

as for heather, i am sure she spent most of her time in putting on (or playing with) the 3d glasses properly... : P

祝大家馬年笑口常開！女孩子應該是天生愛拍照，一分鐘前才連人帶車翻倒，一分鐘後叫你拍照已哈哈大笑，希望你的樂天性格可以感染你的哥哥！

happy moment

kids are always happy when they are invited to the kitchen for helping out, especially in preparing dessert. and this time the kids are extremely delighted not only because they are allowed to give helping hands, but also they can eat the glutinous dumpling fillings (maltesers!!) all along when they are rubbing the pastry!

well, as you may probably know - it ends up each of us can only share four pieces of dumpling because the kids already finished half pack of the chocolate in the course of the cooking.... : P

merry christmas

amy always wants to put up a real christmas tree at home and her wish finally came true this year! and i'm a bit surprised to see it still survive after these two weeks (given that amy is a renowned plant killer.. hehe : P )

the kids are really enjoying christmas as it actually means: no school, no home work, but lots of free time to watch cartoon at home!

back to normal

heather underwent her surgery four weeks ago. thank god she has been doing well since then. she behaves exactly the same way she was before the surgery, like snatching toys from her brother and sneaking into our bed in the middle of night.

we almost forgot she got something mended in her little heart and sometimes it's rafael who reminds her not to jump or run fiercely! thanks rafael, you have done a great job indeed!

fearlessness?

well, sometimes they are, but not all the time : )

i am really surprised to see that heather did this ON HER OWN!! i guess she can only be a monkey but never a lady when she grows up...

p.s. luckily we have installed window frames at home...

difference between 6 years old and 3 years old

well, this six-year-old boy is (seems) not afraid of height anymore and indeed quite proud of himself for climbing up so high (from his perspective)...

while this three-year-old little girl thinks she fears nothing but later realises that she is yet to overcome this two feet distance : )

lego time

glad that they love lego more than ipad or cartoons! but sometimes help them look for the missing pieces will really, really drive me nuts!! haha : P

i guess this was the most entertaining party they have ever had : )

with lots of snack (and the mickey mouse utensils make the kids even happier)...

ice-cream is a must, otherwise party is not a party...

time to burn their energy, so let them jump...

and let them smile (um.... how come their smiles are always so unique? : P)

what gives them peace

we just have our first trip with other families. while the kids were playing half of the time and fighting in the other half, i just found the panacea that could give them a peaceful moment......

unlike her brother, heather loves taking photos (either she takes photos on us or we take photos on her) but always smiles cheekily like this.

and i think this one she already shows us a very decent smile. but anyway i just love her smiles : )
