cooking class

as a food lover, rafael's passion in cooking is never doubted. perhaps next time when i buy a new flat, i have to choose one with a large kitchen where amy can teach her cooking class (though there will only be one student : P) properly...

step 1: make sure all the ingredients are ready (and keep reminding your student not to eat the rice crisps and raisins in the course of the cooking)

step 2: mix all the ingredients (and again, keep reminding your student not to eat the rice crisps and raisins in the course of the cooking)

step 3: again and again, keep reminding your student not to eat the rice crisps and raisins in the course of the cooking

step 4: put the cookies into the oven

step 5 (and the final one): quality control. if the cookies taste good, then they all belong to rafael. if not, then leave them for papa

rachel: if you ever launch a cooking class, please let me know. i am sure rafael will be the first one to apply : P

notes from mama:

this is the recipe we followed: healthy banana cookies

we used raisins instead of dates and added some rice crisps. couldn't expect much because there's no butter, sugar or even flour, but they surely made good treats for toddlers - at least rafael loved them a lot.

Not sure if we'll have cooking class. But it's surely a good idea to include real cooking in some of our lesson plans! Good idea. Thank you.

Mom, u have great patience for sure. It's a great bonding time together. And looks like Rafael didn't even make a mess.
